ifilm to turn to ‘Zero Degree Turn’

Iranian series ‘Zero Degree Turn’ has been scheduled to be on ifilm English Channel’s playlist, the respective website has reported.

 The series, produced by Hassan Beshkoufeh as well as Abdollah Shahbazi and directed by Hassan Fathi, will start airing on June 25, 2020.

In the series, an Iranian boy travels to Paris to study. There, he meets and falls in love with a young Jewish girl.

But when World War II breaks out, he's forced to return home, thus, he manages to smuggle the girl and her mother to Iran in order to save them from the Nazis who've occupied France.

While Iran itself is occupied by foreign forces, the young man helps to launch a newspaper focused on preserving and promoting the country's heritage and culture.

But it won’t be easy since political intrigues threaten to destroy everything he holds dear.

Among the cast list are Roya Teimourian, Shahab Hosseini, Ateneh Faqih-Nasiri, Laya Zanganeh, Iraj Rad, Masoud Rayegan, Nathalie Matti, Rahim Norouzi, Ahmad Saatchian, Payam Dehkordi, Ali Qorbanzadeh, Sadreddin Shajareh, and Farrokh Nemati.

‘Zero Degree Turn’, made in 2007, that will replace the series ‘Until Being with Sorayya’, is to be broadcast daily at 23:00 GMT.

ifilm English will also repeat each episode of the series the following day at 05:00, 11:00 and 17:00. The series comes in 30 segments.
